Muskie fishing in the area has been
very difficult. We are seeing some fish but not that many. There
does not seem to be any particular bait that they are hot on. The
best bet for getting a muskie to go is to fish them at night with
jointed crankbaits. The surface temp is way to hot to get them to go
on top.
Bass have been good in the deeper
cabbage on the sunny days and in shallower on the dark days. Start
throwing some bigger baits to get the bigger fish.
Walleye fishing in this area has been
really slow, but anglers are heading up to Big Winne for a good bite
on mid lake structure. If we get the water to cool off some fishing
will pick up again. Good Luck, Catch a Big One and Let it
GO!
